Emergency Community Mediation
About this Project
Nathalie participated in a community mediation and social cohesion initiative in several provinces of the Central African Republic (CAR) in order to diminish divides and bridge fault lines in the aftermath of CAR's devastating war.
She was hired by a humanitarian organization to conduct conflict-sensitive assessments and support multi-party mediation processes. During that time she also trained, coached and mentored insider mediators to strengthen their conflict resolution capacity.
Stationed between the Seleka and the Anti-Balaka, she organized inter-ethnic, inter-religious and agro-pastoral dialogues around economic, land, displacement and security issues.
