Intra-Muslim Training on Violence Prevention and Response

About this Project

As defined by KAICIID, "interfaith dialogue is about people of different religious identities seeking and coming to a mutual understanding and respect that allows them to live and cooperate with each other in spite of their differences."

To provide tools that support mutual understanding, Nathalie was invited to design and implement a Training of Trainers based on the Qur'an to help Muslim leaders in CAR prevent and respond to intra- and inter-community violence.

To deepen the impact of the training, she provided participants with the pedagogical tools to train others and coached them as they designed their first conflict transformation processes in their communities.
