Offers and Needs Fair

• Resources move from where they are to where they are needed, based on willingness and capacity within purpose.
• Between Keith, Tarek, Nathalie and Jean-Emile, $1000 was raised for the Bria Team
• Tarek and Jean-Emile will also coordinate a donation of 2-4 laptops for the Team

Nathalie's changing role

Nathalie announced that she is wanting to resign her role as CEO of the organization and focus on her facilitation work. She no longer has the capacity to run an organization and its impacting CIT's finances and activities. She is available to support this transition and stay on board as a mediator but can no longer manage the operation of CIT. A discussion was facilitated by Keith about the implication of this transition on CIT and the Team in Bria. For Bria this transition is happening too fast and too early for a young organization and their preference would be for Nathalie to continue. The lack of funding has been disappointing and donor's shift towards health programming difficult to navigate. Distributing Nathalie's tasks amongst CIT members would be disjointed without someone coordinating and follow-up.

No one inside the organization wants to take on its leadership, so the following was agreed upon:

• The Officers will look until the end of December for an outside person to take on the role of CEO 
• Bria will submit a 6-month transition plan to become an autonomous CSO, if CIT closes
• CIT-HQ will support Bria’s transition plan
• If Officers can’t find a new leader, CIT will close at the end of Bria’s transition plan

Board vacancies

• Cynthia resigned from the Board and Justin shifted to an advisory role, leaving 2 vacancies on the Board.
• Nathalie received 5 applications, however given the leadership transition, the Board decided that no new Board members will be selected unless new leadership is identified.
