In collaboration with Salam Institute and IRD staff, Nathalie Al-Zyoud put in place an Inter-religious Peacebuilding Network to strengthen local resilience in Burkina Faso agains violent extremist ideology.

Funded by USAID PDEV II and held in Ouagadougou, the workshop brought together over 40 Imams, Priests and Pastors and provided a space to build relationships between Muslim and Christian leaders, create inter-faith sub-regional teams and develop local action plans based on a Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) analysis of specific risk factors.
