Kenu Argawal, CIT Board Vice-president, in collaboration with Dr. Swati Chakraborty from Webplatform4dialogue, is organizing a series of webinars on themes interconnecting Interreligious Dialogue (IRD) and Sustainable Development Goal 5 (SDG 5), "Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls".  

Panelists and trainers will equip women to assume their role in world peace and harmony and build the courage of young women to raise their voice for social cohesion and justice in a peaceful and non-violent manner.

EmpowHer will begin with a workshop at the Parliament of World’s Religions on October 17th, 2021. The interactive training session will consist of experiences and poins of views from India, Austria, Finland and Nigeria on how young women are trained to design peace building processes and equipped to use their skills to engage in IRD and Inter Cultural Dialogue (ICD) within local communities.
